In this scenic 5-7 minute trip travelers are treated to gorgeous panoramic views of Oakland's western neighborhoods, Interstate 880, the Port of Oakland, and parts of Jack London Square. All Fremont and Dublin/Pleasanton destinations from San Francisco travel this stretch of the BART system, with the views and riding experience the same on both trains. West Oakland is the first East Bay station for all trains coming from "The City by the Bay."
