Mixed Bag Fishing at Pevensey Bay! Flatties, a Ray & More! 🎣🌊 Headed to Pevensey Bay Beach for a 5-hour session, hoping to find plaice, other flatties, and maybe a schoolie bass. With some top-quality yellow tails full of guts and prime king rag, I set up two solid rigs—a three-hook loop rig with 1/0 Saltwater Champion hooks and a three-hook flapper with short snoods and size 6 Super Match hooks, both armed with 5oz SKM grip leads. The sea had a small chop—not quite the rough conditions I was hoping for to bring bass in close—but the fish were still about! I managed to land a flounder, whiting, rockling, and even a thornback ray!
