Showing Up Even When It’s Hard | DAY 51

Yesterday, I received a call from a mentee who was tired, frustrated, and discouraged by challenges at work. The weight of responsibility, expectations, and uncertainty was getting to him. He wondered if it was even worth it. So I listened. I encouraged him. I reminded him of something we all need to hear sometimes: Keep showing up. Not every day will feel rewarding. Not every effort will be applauded. Not every seed will show immediate fruit. But faithfulness is never wasted. Many people today are silently carrying pressure at work, in business, in leadership, at home, and within themselves. You may feel unseen. You may feel tired. You may question whether what you’re doing even matters. It does. God sees your consistency. He sees the days you showed up when it was hard. He sees the effort no one applauded. He sees the obedience behind the scenes. And He is not unjust to forget your labor. Harvest does not come to those who start. Harvest comes to those who refuse to quit. “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”: Galatians 6:9 (NIV) So if today feels heavy, show up anyway. If you feel tired, show up anyway. If you feel unseen, show up anyway. Not for applause. Not for validation. But because your faithfulness is part of your calling.
