The original takes advantage of the bigger number of channels to play chords, bass and percussion at the same time, but here there's no space for chords, so you have to either strip down the chords to single notes, or remove something else to make space for them. The only place where I had space for them was at the last section, but rather than removing stuff they were displaced instead. I also did a volume trick with the noise channel to make it sound like the crash cymbal plays uninterrupted under the snare, when in reality it is actually interrupted and resumed, but the snare is so short and loud by comparison that the gap is hard to notice. The only tricks in this remix are the "hope you don't notice" kind. Again, no vibrato effects here. Songs that rely more on harmonies always sound better clean, while songs that rely more on melody can benefit on using vibrato more. That's because clean notes create more resonance, which is useful when you want the notes to meld together, like with chords, while vibrato instead uses slight detunings that alter or stop the resonances, which makes the notes stand out individually, and that's more useful with melodies, where you're meant to listen to the notes on their own.
