There are six catogeries of spoonbill in the world, among which Black-faced Spoonbill is the one with small body shape and minimum population. In October of every year, many migratory birds will gather at the estuary of the Tsengwen River in Tainan County, making the wetland of Southwest Taiwan lively again. When the birds come, many bird watchers are attracted to join the seasonal party, exciting the area famous for its fishery and salt manufacturing. The bird with special body shape impresses people because not only it's a guest from far away, but also it's a kind of endangered bird. For protecting the colony of black-faced spoonbill, different people living in various countries work together to increase its survival chance and come to the same environment protected to spend the winter with other kinds of creatures. Like the messenger, migratory birds fly across different regions to create communication channels between the lands and people for them, which are originally unrelated.
