Designed by architect César Pelli (responsible for the Petronas Towers), construction began in 2008 and was completed in 2015. Its construction was not without controversy, as it broke with Seville's tradition of not exceeding the height of the Giralda, the city's most iconic monument. It forms part of an urban complex on the Isla de la Cartuja that includes a shopping center, offices, the CaixaForum cultural center, and the Eurostars Torre Sevilla hotel on its top 19 floors. Crowning the building is one of Seville's best-kept secrets: the Atalaya Tower Viewpoint Terrace. At 180 meters high, this panoramic terrace offers one of the most spectacular views of the city, where the Guadalquivir River meanders between historic bridges, the Giralda tower rises majestically, and sunsets paint the rooftops of the old town in gold. From the 37th floor of the skyscraper, you can enjoy a 360º panorama that stretches from the María Luisa Park to the Aljarafe marshes. It's the perfect place to pause. Diseñada por el arquitecto César Pelli (responsable de las Torres Petronas), se comenzó a construir en 2008 y se completó en 2015. Su construcción no estuvo exenta de polémica ya que rompía con la tradición de Sevilla de no superar la altura de la Giralda, el monumento más icónico de la ciudad. Forma parte de un complejo urbano en la Isla de la Cartuja que combina un centro comercial, oficinas, el CaixaForum y el hotel Eurostars Torre Sevilla en sus últimas 19 plantas. Coronando el edificio se encuentra uno de los secretos mejor guardados de Sevilla: la Terraza Mirador Atalaya Torre Sevilla. A 180 metros de altura, esta terraza panorámica ofrece una de las vistas más espectaculares de la ciudad, donde el Guadalquivir serpentea entre puentes históricos, la Giralda se alza majestuosa y los atardeceres tiñen de oro los tejados del casco antiguo. Desde la planta 37 del rascacielos, se puede disfrutar de una perspectiva de 360º que abarca desde el Parque de María Luisa hasta las marismas del Aljarafe.
