A short documentary film made by a Finnish NGO about a 20 year long injustice that caused conflicts amongst Lo’jir Gurgure of Erigabo Sanaag and other local clans. Lo'jir is a sub-clan of Gurgure (mostly made up of Nabidoor & Biicide) who acquired their name due to their tradition of cattle herding. They live next to Habar Yonis and Warsangeli around Erigabo. Today the Lo’jir is confederation of semi-outcasted minorities is the Sanaag Region of Somaliland as the Harti and isaaq clans battle for political power and territorial expansion. The Gurgure clan who are the majority in Dire Dawa Region and Sitti Zone of Somali Region are politically Somali irrespective of the language they speak. In Dire Dawa administration, the Gurgure have all their seats under the formerly “Somali People's Democratic Party" and currently Prosperity Party (PP) which came from Issa & Gurgure Libration Front (IGLF). In Dire Dawa regional council the Oromo (OPDO) get 40% (75 seats) and Somalis(SPDP) 40% (75 seats) and 20% others. The Gurgure get all their 51 seats from the somali SPDP party, because they are the largest group in Dire Dawa with 24 out of 38 kebeles.
