LOST & FOUND... Another track from the Legendary LOST Traffic Album... "Live - November 70"... This release can also be considered as the continuation of my last release with the addition of Master Grech on Electric Guitar. The TRIO becoming a QUARTET, only a few month later. Legendary Concert promoter BILL GRAHAM introduces the band: ....Ladies & Gentlemen, in association with your majesty the Queen, I bring you TRAFFIC... As explained in previous releases from this legendary recording, there are various interpretations as to why this album was ultimately doomed.... I am of the mind that we may never know, but it would be interesting to articulate on. The plan was most likely to release an official LIVE album by early 1971... It was to feature the addition of Master Grech to the fold... One theory which is very likely was that UNITED ARTISTS upset Chris Blackwell and Master Winwood by releasing a retrospective of his work in the US without consulting with them, and when It came to releasing the LIVE album, they lost the backing of the band and their manager. Another theory is that the master tapes for the album simply got LOST, some say during the flight back to England. On a final note, there is also the idea that the band were simply dissatisfied with the finished product and destroyed the tapes themselves. I even read somewhere that claimed that Master Winwood threw the tapes off the plane... :) Most of the tracks from the album, as we know, appeared on the 2011 Deluxe Version of JBMD... including A VERSION OF "Every Mother's Son"... However, the version on the official release is from the NEXT DAY, the 19th... Here, I bring you the 18th... with some interesting differences between the two versions.... Enjoy Loud...
