Antelope opened in 1995 as is located in the Smuggler's Wharf area of the park. The ride is named from the first book in Gulliver's Travels series. Gulliver boards a boat named the Antelope on 4 May 1699, but is later shipwrecked and washed up onto the shores of the land of the miniature Lilliputians. There is a sign in the ride station that reads "Gulliver sailed the seas to Lilliput Land on his ship The Antelope." What are the Height Requirements to ride the Antelope Coaster at Gulliver's World? To ride the Antelope Coaster at Gulliver's World guests must be at least 1.1m to ride the Antelope and 1.4m to ride unaccompanied Gulliver’s World, where Gully’s Grand Prix is located, opened in 1989 in Warrington, Cheshire. It was the second Gulliver’s theme park following Gulliver’s Kingdom in Matlock Bath. Gulliver’s World was designed specifically for children aged between 2 and 13 and features multiple themed zones such as Land, Gully Town, and Safari Kingdom. The park includes signature rides like The Antelope wooden coaster, Desperado Drop, and Apache Falls, along with indoor play centres like Splash Zone and Blast Arena. In 2012, the Gulliver’s Hotel was added to offer family-friendly short breaks. New Land of Oz The latest area to open at Gulliver's World is the Land of Oz. Gulliver's World Land of Oz is a Wizard of Oz themed area featuring 3 new attractions including the Winged Monkey Ride, the Upside Down House, and Munchkin Motar The Gulliver’s brand has expanded across the UK with three additional parks. Gulliver’s Kingdom in Matlock Bath was the original park, opening in 1978. Gulliver’s Land in Milton Keynes followed, and most recently, Gulliver’s Valley opened in Rotherham in 2020. All parks are focused on young families, offering age-appropriate attractions, themed lands, and a safe and friendly atmosphere tailored to children.
