Florence Martha (Fielding) Del Rossi, age 79, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family, on June 29, 2025. Her family and friends came together on July 9th to share our love and memories of Florence. Florence is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, William “Bill” Del Rossi, her son, Steven (Heather) Del Rossi of Augusta, ME, her daughter Christine Del Rossi of Lisbon, ME. She is also survived by her brother David Fielding of Andover, MA, and her sisters Janet Buck (Kevin) of Los Angeles, CA and Whitefish, MT and Katherine Fielding of Los Angeles, CA. She also leaves behind many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Florence was born on May 29, 1946, in Lincoln, New Hampshire, the eldest of six children of John “Jack” Fielding and Rita Julia (Duggan) Fielding of Malden, Massachusetts. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, John Fielding and Steven Fielding. Florence worked for 39 years in the Brunswick High School, Junior High, and Coffin School Cafeterias, where she was known for the care and kindness she showed to all the students she served. She also worked as a CNA and med tech at Dionne Commons Assisted Living Facility in Brunswick. A devoted community member, Florence loved being a scout leader and was an active volunteer at many events. She was a proud member of the league of women voters. Her passions included gardening, camping, traveling with family, reading, sewing, knitting, and caring for her beloved pets.
