HAIR TUTORIAL: Tik-Tok Heatless Bath Robe Curls!

When I heard about this trend, I was skeptical. ESPECIALLY for someone whose hair does not hold curl well at all. But I had to try it, of course, because I'm all about heat-less solutions for every day hair. And WOW this is probably the coolest hair hack I have ever tried! In the beginning of the video I talk for a bit about some ways that I found doing this made a little more effective. I suggest: Don't do this on hair that is 100% wet! I would try damp hair using a squirt bottle Start wrapping your hair down a ways (closer to your eye). If you start right at the top of your part you'll get very tight curls all the way down, which may or may not be the look you were going for. I like it best when I start closer to my temple, not the base of my scalp Make sure your hair is smooth and detangled before wrapping. Otherwise, you'll get some pretty wonky curls. I find I even have to pay attention to how I'm wrapping my hair to get the curl I'm going for. You'll figure this out with practice for what works best with your hair type and texture! Lastly, Don't expect heat-perfect curls! You'll get more of a natural looking curl, but one that is pretty impressive for 5 minutes overnight... If you try this one day and are semi-impressed, do it again the next night (skip shampooing in between) and see if you like the results better. Again, I shampoo my hair twice a week and I get the best curl from this method on day 3 and 4. Other than that, have at it! I am so excited to see how this works for you!
