HAIR TUTORIAL: How to Dutch Braid Your Own Hair PLUS Braided Bun Tutorial

In this video I show you how to do a simple dutch braid on yourself! It will look a little different (hand positioning wise) if you do a dutch braid on someone else rather than on yourself. Let me know in the comments if you would like me to upload a video tutorial of doing a dutch braid on someone else! Also in this tutorial, I recognize that there is more than one way to do a dutch braid. What works for me might not work for you, and that's ok! Watch several videos and find one you like. I like to pick up hair as I go, before I cross the hair over. Remember: when doing a dutch braid, always cross UNDER to create a braid that is OVER the hair (this is reverse in normal french braiding, where you cross over to create a braid that is actually under the hair). At the end of the video I show you how to quickly make a dutch braid into a bun! All you'll need for this are some bobby pins.
