Replacing a Failed FloWell and why this Dry Well failed

We are working close to home today. This homeowner called us because he has standing water in his front yard. This house is actually under contract and fixing this water problem is a condition of the sale. We did some probing and we found a small dry well. We decided to replace the 50 gallon FloWell with a 250 gallon chambered dry well. We determined this is the minimum sized needed after calculating the rain water runoff from this one downspout and the sump pump discharge.
