Famous for its seafood and kite surfing, you must eat camel, oysters, fish, calamari and a traditional dessert, Zaza Baladi, when you visit Dakhla. This peninsula town is in the south of Western Sahara, Morocco and has a thriving seafood industry, exporting tonnes of seafood to Europe. Its white sandy beaches, clear waters and windy weather (most of the year) make it a popular spot for European campers and surfers. There's much more going on though and you have to venture into the streets for some of the best foods Dakhla has to offer.
