Sometimes this is an issue as I want to open the door from the outside and I don't have the remote so I need to enter the house first and open it up from the button installed on the wall. When Reyax offered to send me a BLE receiver (RYBG211) I thought that it will be a perfect opportunity that I solve my garage issue by making a BLE remote for the garage door that I can then use to open the garage from my phone. The BLE receiver talks with a NodeMCU board over UART with a set of specific AT commands to control what devices can pair with the remote and the opening is controlled from an Android mobile app that I made using MIT App Inventor.
