DESTROYED BY A SUPER TYPHOON - The Philippine Island Where Bayanihan is Life

Five months ago Babuyan Claro was hit by a strong super typhoon. And everywhere you go, you can still feel and see the effects of it. Structures are destroyed… including the major school. Homes still have roofs covered in trapal. Trees are fallen everywhere… all the coconuts are gone. Without a doubt, this is a beautiful island and beautiful commmunity. Heck, an incredibly strong community! No one asked me for anything, even to write about their difficulties. As you saw with the way they unload small boats “bayanihan” due to their being no port… How can Babuyan Claro recover the major infrastructure? This island definitely needs support. With summer just starting, this is the few months where the ocean will get a “little calmer”. I just hope some of these images raise a little awareness. This community was devastated.
