Legian, Bali. Tuesday, 10 February 2026. This month, rain continues to fall across the island of Bali, and this afternoon Legian is no exception. Steady rain creates a calm, moody atmosphere, giving a very different feel to one of Bali’s busiest tourist areas. We begin our walking tour in Legian by strolling along Padma Street, where the rain-soaked road and swaying palm trees set the tone for a slow, relaxing walk. From here, we turn right onto Legian Main Street, the heart of Legian, which still feels lively even under grey skies. Continuing the walk, we turn right again into Melasti Street, one of the main access roads leading towards Legian Beach. The rain adds a reflective shine to the streets, while tourists and locals move between shops, hotels, and cafes. Next, we turn right once more to enter Sahadewa Street, better known to visitors as Garlic Lane. This narrow street is famous for its souvenir shops, small stores, and budget eateries, and walking here in the rain offers a quieter, more authentic vibe compared to sunny days. From Garlic Lane, we head north towards Padma Utara Street, an area lined with accommodation and popular access points to the beach. Our journey continues as we turn right and walk along Werkudara Street, where today’s rainy afternoon walk in Legian comes to an end. This rainy walking tour of Legian, Bali captures the real atmosphere of the area during the wet season — slower, calmer, and surprisingly relaxing. If you enjoy Bali walking tours, street exploration, and experiencing destinations beyond perfect weather days, this walk through Padma, Legian Main Street, Melasti Street, and Garlic Lane is for you. Thanks for walking with us in Legian, Bali :))
