Welcome to the MBTA route 450 timelapse! The MBTA route 450 is an express bus route on the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. This route starts at Haymarket station, (an interchange station between the MBTA Orange and green lines), and runs to the historic city of Salem Massachusetts. This express bus route starts by diving underground into the Thomas P O'Neil tunnel then goes under the Boston harbor VIA the Callahan & Sumner tunnels. After its trip under the Boston harbor the 450 surfaces onto route 1A, passing Airport station in the process. The 450 continues along Route 1A until reaching the Bell circle rotary. It then travels up the American legion highway before taking the Salem turnpike across the Rumney Marsh. After crossing the fox hill bridge it makes local stops in Lynn until reaching it's final destination of Salem Massachusetts. The 450 is a helpful route for commuters that need a second option to get from Salem Massachusetts to downtown Boston.
