Driving Germany: B258 Aachen - Monschau - 4K drive through the north part of Eifel mountains

The video presents a scenic drive through the north slopes of Eifel mountains, in the border area between Germany and Belgium. We are starting in the important city of Aachen, the former capital of The Holy Roman Empire and are climbing almost continuosly up to the high plateau of Eifel, situated at about 600m, before descending to the pictuoresque old town of Monschau. We are crossing also the belgian border for a few kilometers, and are driving through an interesting landscape, a good mix of forests and wide-open areas. The road is known for its straight and steep sections, called 'stairway to sky'. Photos from Aachen and Monschau are also included in the video. Enjoy!
