This recording carries a fascinating story. Sourced from a vintage cassette acquired in 1974 by the “ELVIS fan club,” it remained a hidden gem for decades, circulating only within very private circles on CD-r with no official or proper release. Expertly transferred in 2017 by rober953, the recording made a brief online appearance in 2023 under the title “He Clobbers Them.” Today, we bring it to you in its best possible form, ensuring this magnificent concert finally receives the wide-scale recognition it deserves. Performed exactly four years to the day before his passing, Elvis is in top shape. From the rockin' energy of "Trouble" to the deep emotional resonance of "My Boy," this show is a masterclass in 1970s showmanship. Note: As there is no known visual registry of this concert, the images provided are selected photos from approximate dates during the August 1973 season to represent the atmosphere during that time.
