Step 1: Prepare your nail. Natural nails: Use the SensatioNail file (available in our starter kit) to shape your nails, then gently buff them. Use the cuticle stick provided to gently push back your cuticles. Cleanse your nails using the lint-free wipes and Gel Cleanser. These items are available in our Stater Kits, or separately. https://www.sensationail.co.uk/gel-cl... Finally, apply the Gel Primer to your nail. TOP TIP: apply primer based on your nail type. Do you have normal/dry nails? Apply primer only on the tip and around the edges of your nail. Oily nails? Apply primer as you would nail polish, across the full nail. Leave this to air dry for 30 seconds. Artificial Nails: Apply to your natural nail, in accordance to the artifical nail instructions. Shape as desired then buff away the shine to create a 'rougher' surface. This helps the gel polish to adhere. We've used Nailene 200 Cover Oval nails here. Grab yourself some here: https://bit.ly/2yo3Meo Step 2: Paint your nails. Use the Gel Top and Base Coat available to paint your nails. TOP TIP: Ensure you ‘cap’ the end of your nail by tracing the brush along the tip of your nail. Cure this for 15 seconds. Then, apply a thin coat of your chosen colour. Cure these for 30 seconds and repeat this step as desired and until opaque coverage is achieved. Step 3: Add the art. Using a fine nail art brush, apply your chosen design. We’ve used Jade Treasure for the leaves https://www.sensationail.com/uk/jade-..., and Satin Moss for the details (its so popular, we’ve sold out!) but Shimmering Spruce could be used instead and give some extra sparkle. Go over the designs again, using Jade Treasure and Satin Moss/Shimmering Spruce to ensure the colour is even and the lines are smooth. TOP TIP: use a small amount of polish on your brush and build up the design. Remember, if you make a mistake you can wipe the polish away before its cured and start again. Use the Gel Top and Base Coat available in your kit to paint your nails.
