Watch my bus journey from Kozhikode to Bengaluru by KSRTC's Airavat Club Class Volvo B11R. This bus is scheduled 9:45 PM from Kozhikode Bus Stand and scheduled to reach Majestic by 6 in the morning. The bus route is a quite different one since it does not pass through the regular Bandipur Forest instead it goes via Mananthavady and Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary. There are only 2 buses on Mananthavadyroute. One is the Rajahamsa bus towards Bengaluru. We departed on dot 9:45 PM and started our journey. Both the crew members were very supportive and drove really well on the Thamarassery Ghat. Handling a big boy on small ghat sections is really awesome and requires pure skill. There was bit of overtakings as well on the ghat and the traffic was also very less. We reached Kalpetta by 11:50 PM and took a left turn towards Manathavady. Straight route goes towards Sulthan Bathery and Bandipur Forest. Our route is a bit longer since it takes a round till Mananthavady and touches Gonikoppa and then towards Mysuru. But the other Utsav route is a straight one since it have permit to pass through Bandipur Forest and reaches Mysuru via Gundlupet. We reached Mysuru by 4 AM and got a few passengers towards Bengaluru. We then resumed our journey and reached Bengaluru by 6:15 AM which indeed very well maintained time.
