Watch my bus journey from Vijayawad To Hyderabad by TGSRTC Garuda Plus Volvo B11R. This bus is scheduled at 12:10 PM from Vijayawada Bus Stand and scheduled to reach Hyderabad MGBS by 5:30 PM in the evening. The bus route is via - Nandigama , Kodad , Suryapet. The bus fare is 660/- online booking. The walk in fare is 610/- just 50/- difference between online and walk in. There are only a few buses left out in TGSRTC bus fleet of Garuda Plus buses. They have been replaced by the Lahari Sleeper/Seater buses on every route. These buses were used to be the speed kings on Bengaluru - Hyderabad route as they were ripping at 110 or 100 Kmph on the highways. They used to overtake all the KSRTC's on Hyderabad route. But sadly they've been discontinued on that route. Presently they are running on Hyderabad - Vijayawada route and vice versa. So thats the main reason for trying this bus. The fare difference between APSRTC's Volvo B11R is 220/-. Dolphin cruise is priced at 880/- online which was a bit too pricey as compared to TSRTC. we halted for Lunch after Nandigama at a Veg/Non Veg hotel. Since i am pure vegetarian i did'nt have anything at that hotel. Just managed out with some Lay's and Maaza. We reached MGBS by 6:30 PM which was one hour delay as per the scheduled time.
