I made this video in December 1988 when I was working as a singer onboard the S.S. Emerald Seas (Admiral Cruises). I made the tape to send home to my parents, so that they could see the ship and see where I was going to be spending my first Christmas away from home. Seen in the video are several people who worked on the ship with me - Ken Rush who was the Associate Cruise Director, Michelle Moye, Lisa Esmon, and Bill Ledesma who were the other sings in the group with me, Paulette who was the Youth Hostess, Mauricio Guerra from the cruise staff, Judy Kolba who was the guest entertainer on board, Jeff Gonsalves from the cruise staff, and Mark Kiser who was the drummer in the ship show band. On the tape, I give a tour of most of the public areas of the ship, show the port of Nassau, and then take a quick tour of our private island, Little Stirrup Cay which has since been renamed Cocoa Cay and has been highly developed by Royal Caribbean.
