Rear View Mirror (Part 1) | Leave It Behind What are you still carrying that God has already called you to leave behind? In this first message of our new series *“Rear View Mirror,”* we look closely at **Philippians 3**, where the Apostle Paul makes a bold declaration: “One thing I do: forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead, I press toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3) Paul had every reason—by human standards—to hold on to his past. His achievements, reputation, religious status, and security were impressive. Yet when he encountered Jesus, everything changed. Paul lost nearly everything because of Christ, but he makes it clear: *knowing Jesus far surpasses anything he ever gave up**. In fact, he calls what he lost *rubbish compared to the greatness of knowing Christ. This message explores: Why knowing Jesus is worth more than anything we could ever surrender How Paul faced the very real possibility of death without fear What it means to leave the past behind and press forward in faith How intimacy with Christ replaces fear with peace The message closes with a challenge to leave *fear* in the rear view mirror. When we truly know Christ, fear no longer drives us—**peace does**. 📖 *Scripture Focus:* Philippians 3 🎯 *Theme:* Leaving fear behind by pressing forward in Christ 🔔 *Stay Connected with Oak Hill Assembly* 🌐 Website: [https://www.oakhillassembly.com](https://www.oakhillassembly.com) 📺 Subscribe on YouTube: [Add Channel Link] 📘 Facebook: [Add Link] 📸 Instagram: [Add Link] 🎧 Sermons & Media: [Add Link] 💝 Give Online: [Add Link] If this message encouraged you, be sure to *like**, **subscribe**, and **share* it with someone who needs hope today.
