"We Have Finally Cleared The Land After Storm Éowyn - Our Homestead & Farmhouse Restoration in Ireland" shows the last few days of clearing the storm damaged trees from the future homestead as well as finishing the amazing dead hedge made from fallen willow and willow whips. Our stone built Irish farmhouse and 200 year old outbuildings sit on just under 1 acre of land which will one day be home to numerous animals. Storm Éowyn was kind to the farmhouse but not so kind to the already leaning willow trees with having to cut over 20 trunks and large tree limbs. A lot of people are searching for Irish cottage renovations and Irish cottage restorations but we can't fall under either of those due to our house being a farmhouse. We are leaning more towards restoration and conservation of our 110+ year old farmhouse than we are renovation but appreciate we can't not renovate and update some things the once derelict farmhouse as we go.
