AVK Donkin gas 'Mains to Meter' Products for the Gas Industry

The Donkin brand within AVK UK is known as one of the most respected brands within the UK gas industry with valves and mechanical fittings manufactured in our two UK facilities of Staveley and Hyde in Manchester. Under the Donkin brand AVK UK has manufactured mains to meter products such as polyethylene service isolation valves and flow limitors for many years but now has several new additions to the range. The new additions to the Donkin gas Mains to Metre family consist of four new product ranges. First is the series 217 factory entry elbows designed to carry the gas into a building above ground from the external gas service pope to internal pipe work. The second addition to the range is the series 218 below ground entry fitting (known as a cellar entry fitting in the smaller sizes) which does the same job as the series 217 but this time underground. Third in the series of new products are our series 216 range of meter box adaptors which work with all types of meter box, connecting the polyethylene service pipe to the emergency control valve (ECV) inside the meter box. Last but not least in the new range is the series 456 crimp tool kit which combines three tools in one to carry out the crimped joint, joining the polyethylene service pipe to the ECV in the meter box.
