🥕 Easy Korean Gimbap & 🌶 Spicy Tteokbokki Recipe | Korean Street Food at Home Today I’m sharing two classic Korean Street Foods — Gimbap and tteokbokki. This sweet, savory, and spicy combo is one of the most popular Korean street food and it’s easier to make at home than you think! 🥕 Gimbap Recipe (6 rolls) Ingredients 6 eggs, 250g spinach, 340g spam, 3 medium carrots, pickled radish (Danmuji), 4–5 cups cooked rice, 6 seaweed sheets, salt, sesame oil, sesame seeds. Prep & Cook Time: 30–35 minutes Instructions • Cook egg omelets and slice into strips. • Blanch spinach in salted water (30 seconds), cool, squeeze, and season with soy sauce & sesame oil. • Stir-fry carrots for 5-6 minutes. • Pan-fry spam until lightly golden. • Season rice well with salt and sesame oil. Spread rice evenly on seaweed, add fillings, and roll tightly. Brush sesame oil on the knife before slicing for clean cuts. Finish with sesame oil and sesame seeds on top. Perfect for lunch, picnics, or meal prep! 🌶 Tteokbokki Recipe Ingredients 2 cups rice cakes (soaked 10 minutes), 4 fish cake sheets, 1 green onion, 3 cups water. Sauce • 2.5 tbsp sugar • 1.5 tbsp Korean chili flakes (Gochugaru) • 2 tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste) • 1 tbsp soy sauce • Black pepper to tase • 2/3 tbsp vegetable broth powder (optional) Cook Time: 10–15 minutes Instructions • Mix sauce ingredients and stir into water. • Bring to a boil, then add rice cakes and fish cakes. • Simmer until soft and the sauce thickens.
