How I Experience the Changing of the Seasons as a Trail Runner

A Changing of the Seasons along the shared trails of First State National Historic Park, Delaware (DE), USA and Brandywine Creek State Park (DE, USA). I run these trails year-round. I love to run in all weather. I love to run morning, afternoon, and night, although the soft light of morning is always my most preferred time to be on a trail. Today I share with you a compilation of my favorite photographic stills across all 4 seasons as I move through the wilderness trails. I hope that you enjoy these photographs from my spring, summer, autumn, and winter trail runs. When I hit the trails I always carry with me at least a single camera, often more, giving me the ability to capture my surroundings at they speak to me. You really have to want to stop and take a photograph when you're running and moving. When a tree, or a shadow, or a rock, or a whole landscape catches my eye, I know that I'm freeze framing a subject worth stopping for. Thanks for watching.
