Good Witch Glinda, or just Glinda, is a powerful sorceress and a main character in the "Wizard of Oz" franchise. She lives in and rules over a peaceful kingdom of the Quadlings in Southern Oz, from which her other name is derived, "Witch of the South", though, depending on the story, it can also be "Witch of the North". She makes her debut in the 1908 movie, "The Fairylogue and Radio-Plays", which is the first attempted motion picture animation of the original L. Frank Baum's Oz books, and the following shows and movies.
