Hello TPW Family! Welcome to yet another edition of Bookstore Shenanigans! On today’s episode we wanted to ask you all about your feelings towards used books. Do you love them? Do you hate them? Are you indifferent? I know for me I used to only purchase new books and the only used books I was accustomed to dealing with were from the library. Time has matured me into having an appreciation of used books! There’s just something extra special about them, from the way they look to the way they feel all the way to the way they smell it’s just like you have a piece of history in your hands! What are your thoughts on pre-loved books and how can we share the joy we find in them to our patrons? We have a whole classics section that has books that are older than me and I just want people to get that same special feeling seeing these book elders that we do!
