Phoenix's Best Beginner MTB Trails: San Tan Mountain Regional Park

San Tan Mountain Regional Park, near Queens Creek, Arizona, features some of the best beginner/intermediate mountain biking trails in the Phoenix area. I rode the San Tan Trail (Moderate - Difficult) and Moonlight Trail (Moderate) during my visit to the park. These trails combine fast and easy sections and more technical rocky segments with short dropoffs down into dry washes, rolling hills and gradual inclines. The large downhill section of the San Tan Trail was fun and fast and I tried to include most of it in the video. As a beginner mountain biker myself, I found these trails were fun to ride with a few challenging spots mix in that helped develop my basic riding skills and gain more confidence on the bike.
