Photographed - 17/02/2026 Music: Vertigo by Not The King Great visit to the National Railway Museum in York. The museum opened in 1975 and this year turns 51 years. There are two main sites here, with one just being fully opened to the public after 3 years undergoing refurbishment - Station Hall. Station Hall features royal carriages and royal locomotives just to name a few. The main attraction is the Great Hall. It features a turntable at the centre with Class 26020 on it while also surrounded by withdrawn steam locomotives and foreign gifted visitors. Just to name a few: the O Shinkansen Series, Eurostar Class 373 (e300) power car, Rocket, and Boxhill. What also can be seen displayed in the museum is Sir Nigel Gresley's A4 Pacific 'Mallard'.
