📍 Day 4 Ride: Kargil → Leh (24th September 2025) Today’s journey covered the scenic yet historic route from Kargil to Leh, a ride filled with mountain passes, monasteries, and stunning Himalayan landscapes. While unforeseen curfew in Leh restricted some sightseeing, the ride itself offered unforgettable vistas and experiences. 🛣️ Route Overview Kargil → Mulbekh Buddha → Namkila Pass → Fotu La Pass → Lamayuru → Leh 🕒 Ride Highlights 10:00 AM: Departed from Kargil after breakfast. Prepared for the scenic mountain ride ahead. Mulbekh Buddha Statue: Stopped to explore and capture the ancient rock-cut statue and stunning surroundings. Namkila & Fotu La Passes: Breathtaking high-altitude roads with panoramic views of rugged mountains and valleys. Lunch: Enjoyed a meal at Lamayuru, a famous village with lunar-like terrain and a beautiful monastery. Skipped Stops: Magnetic Hill & Gurudwara Pathar Sahib due to unexpected curfew in Leh. Evening: Arrived in Leh around 4:30 PM under curfew conditions.
