The HP Omen 15t RTX 2070 Max Q is a heavy hitting machine but is it good enough for graphic designers, video editors, and motion designers? ► Check prices in the description below! ⏩ HP Omen ►► CUKUSA - http://bit.ly/HpOmenCUK ►► https://geni.us/HpOmen-RTX2070 - Commission Earned (Disclaimer: HP Omen now only offered in 9th Gen i7 version from CUK) 💰 Use the discount code "BENG3" to get a discount on this laptop or any other laptop on CUKUSA.COM 💰 If you are looking for a machine to handle your creative work then you may have found your match, the HP Omen 15 is a fantastic build with a ton of power. So let’s dive into the full review. In order to evenly rate the HP Omen and find the best fit for your needs we are going to focus on four areas: Experience Usability Performance Build Quality Open the lid of the HP Omen and you will be greeted with an all aluminum keyboard deck that compliments the top cover very well. I love the feel of this deck as it is reminiscent of my old MacBook Pro. The Keyboard is very smooth, quiet and easy to get used to. A lot of gaming PCs have goofy keyboard setups, but not this one. I think it is very easy to use. It did not take me more than a few minutes to get used to using this keyboard. The trackpad is good, but not great! I would say this is my single biggest complaint about this machine. It is not very responsive and small. So if you buy this machine I would recommend snagging a mouse for your day to day work. I like the HP Omen screen a lot. The most amazing thing is how thin they made the top bezel containing the webcam. Normally the top bezel gets a lot of chunk with that top camera, but not the Omen. Very well designed. The screen has a 144Hz refresh rate. This assists in video editing playback as well as gaming if you have some free time between designs and edits. We will talk about that a little bit more in the performance section. Color Accuracy: HP Omen - 93% of RGB Color Space Noise: The last thing I want to talk about as far as experience is concerned is the fan speed and noise. The HP Omen is NOT quiet by any stretch of the imagination, but it is powerful. Noise is something that annoys a lot of people, I really don't know why... Most gamers and designers have their headphones on and either listen to their game or Jam out to music. Anyway, you have been warned if you are a noise hater… it is loud. But with so much power packed into such a small package, those fans have to work had to keep things cool. Usability: Usability is important if you are someone who needs to be on the go. Whether you are a graphic designer, filmmaker, illustrator, or some other form of creator if you are on the go usability matters. Battery Life HP Omen: 4 - 5 Hours Weight: The HP Omen weighs in at 5.56 pounds Ports: This machine is stacked with Ports… I’ll give you the quick low-down. x3 USB 3.0 SD Card Slot x1 HDMI x1 Displayport x1 USB-C/Thunderbolt Network/Ethernet Port Mic Jack Headphone Jack Performance: Now we get to the good stuff. What can this machine do? I was very excited to get my hands on the HP Omen. I have considered it one of the best machines for your money for a long time. It packs a big punch at a price that doesn't KILL your checkbook. It may injure it a little bit depending on how much performance you want, but it does not KILL it. The model I tested came with 32GB of RAM, 8th Gen i7, RTX 2070 Max-Q, and a hybrid-drive (SSD + HDD). I was quite pleased with the form factor of this machine, very small package for so much power. Creators will have no problem getting to task with these specs. With the RTX 2070, you will have plenty of power for motion design and video editing. Overall the Omen is built very well, and it will come down to your personal preferences deciding if this machine fits your needs. As far as my recommendation is concerned… The HP Omen is a great buy for any graphic designer, video editor, and mid-level motion designer. It has the specs, build quality, and color accuracy needed to make a great creator machine. ------- SOCIAL Twitter ► @bengkaiser Facebook ►/bengkaiser Instagram ►@bengkaiser MY FAVORITE GEAR: (affiliate links) Camera ► http://amzn.to/2BWvE9o CamStand ► http://amzn.to/2BWsv9M Compute ► http://amzn.to/2zPeLvs Mouse ► http://amzn.to/2C0T9hq TubeBuddy ► https://www.tubebuddy.com/bengkaiser Blue Host ► https://www.bluehost.com/track/bengka...
