Cap Roux: The Most Beautiful Site in the Esterel Massif

The Cap Roux Massif is one of the most beautiful sites in the Esterel Massif. With its red rocks and vertical cliffs, the panoramic view from the orientation table at the summit (454m) is a successful combination of mountains and sea. Volcanism in the Esterel ended a long time ago, but nothing prevents us from dreaming and surrendering to the contemplation of the landscape when the glowing light of the sunset creates a grand phantasmagoria on the rocks of Cap Roux. At the foot of Cap Roux, on the north side, above the source of Sainte Baume, you can also explore a secluded place, the St Honorat Cave.
