Rescuing a baby bat who fell out of a tree: this is Catcher in the Rye

Catcher is a baby Grey-Headed Flying-Fox aged about 10.5 weeks. He fell out of a tree in front of a member of public (MOP) who put a box over him (despite his protests), weighted it down against the wind, and called for rescue. He's currently at the frozen with fear stage of care. After the initial adrenaline of accident and capture and defiance wears off, the babies often retreat into themselves and freeze. He's eating and drinking without any great enthusiasm or self direction, and tonight he'll go to a carer with the other juvies (Apple Bee and Birch and Zetl), which will most likely cheer him up a great deal.
