I flew my wife to Mackinac Island for our 14th wedding anniversary! It was our first time visiting Mackinac Island, and we had a great time. It's a beautiful, serene place with no cars, just bikes and horse drawn carriages. Airplane and boat are normally the only way to get onto the island. Snowmobiles are allowed in the winter, and when the ice is thick enough, people do cross the channel on them. Flying the PC-12 onto the island was an awesome experience!
