This is part three of three in my mini-series of Goose Feathers for fletching arrows. in this video called Cutting Goose Feathers - Part -3 - Wooden Arrow Making, I demonstrate how to cut the goose feather with a knife from the centre of the quill down which separates the feather in two. In Part 2, I show you another method of how to do it. Both methods are easy to do with a little practice and gentle handling. I have provided a link below. There is also a link to the video, Part 1. I decided to make this series into three parts as a continuation of my arrow making series because it would be easier for you to find specific answers to your questions, of which I have also encountered on my journey through the wooden arrow making process.
