Stewart Parkrun

This week we were running the rather lovely Stewart Parkrun. One of several in and around Middlesbrough and this is an absolute beauty of a course. There's no doubt that the perfect Autumnal day helped, with bright low sunshine, a spectrum of colours on the trees and ideal running weather, but that aside it's just a terrific parkrun venue. There's plenty to do too if you want to make a day of it (stick around for the last minute or so of the video to see just a small bit of it). With a museum, animals, loads of playground gear, plenty of things to see, visitor centre and 2 cafes, it's easy to while away a few hours after the run, so come and pay a visit to this one sometime soon! https://www.parkrun.org.uk/stewart/ Also, special shout out to the volunteers. Every venue has amazing volunteers but the hi viz crew here are really great - nothing is too much trouble for them, they were fielding questions, taking photos and giving plenty of encouragement to the runners.
