Are you blaming yourself for repeated mistakes? Jesus prepared a table again for the disciples who had forgotten the miracle of the five loaves and two fish. Meet God's grace that never tires, which is greater than our persistent shortcomings.✨ Are you wavering again in the face of similar problems? Are you starting with self-blame, asking, "Why am I always like this?" The disciples had already experienced the miracle of the loaves and fish, yet they asked again, "Where can we get bread in this wilderness?" The Lord did not get annoyed but asked again, "How many loaves do you have?" And in the same way, He taught them again and filled them again. Upon the disciples' persistent lack, the Lord's persistent love was poured over. That love still remains today upon our repeated shortcomings. This is the Gospel. Even though our sins and failures may repeat, the Lord's forgiveness and grace never tire. So do not pull back feeling unworthy, but let us go before the Lord just as we are. And today, let us take one step further than yesterday. Sermon Summary Key Points Content Summary ✦ When a large crowd that had followed Jesus for three days became hungry, Jesus had compassion on them. ✦ However, even though the disciples had experienced the miracle of the five loaves and two fish, they spoke of impossibility, saying, "Where in this remote place can anyone get enough bread to feed them?" ✦ Jesus did not rebuke or get annoyed with the disciples, but after giving thanks for the seven loaves and a few small fish, He performed the miracle of feeding four thousand people again. Attitude of Characters ✦ The disciples repeated their immature behavior of crumbling in the face of a crisis, failing to remember the previous grace. ✦ Despite the disciples' repeated shortcomings, Jesus taught them again and filled their needs with the same method and the same love. Lessons for Us ✦ We often fall repeatedly into the same sins and mistakes. However, God is never annoyed by our coming to Him again. ✦ God's repeated grace is greater than my repeated failures. Even if you feel unworthy, go to the Lord again and ask for help.
