Today, I attended Adam the Woo's Celebration of Life event in Garden Grove at the Garden Amphitheater and will never forget the experience. It was surreal, to say the least. First and foremost, I must mention that the reason I was there and enjoyed the incredible seats and access to these amazing people is because of the generosity of Chris Provost of @provostparkpass. I do not fully know what I did to deserve such an incredible favor, but I feel truly blessed. Once there, I sat around many of the people who have been playing on my television in my living room for quite a while as they gathered to celebrate Adam the Woo. There were far too many missed opportunities for me to count. I didn't get to meet @brickeyvlog who could not attend due to personal reasons and I never got the chance to say more than a quick word to @provostparkpass, though Chris did give my wife a hug on his way back stage which was special. I DID get to say hello to @germaninvenice however, which was as great as I expected it to be. Most notably was my brief time with Adam's dad, @JWWOnTheMove. I had a chance to share a few private words with him and to thank him for the incredible example he sets as a father who openly expresses pride and love for his son. Adam and I are a month apart in age, but our paths have been wildly different. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to make a few remarks on those differences and express my thanks to Mr. Williams for sharing his son with us. He's a good man. I wish that I was a bit less introverted through it all, but ultimately I am grateful to have had the chance to be there and continue to be moved and inspired by Adam (@TheDailyWoo). I regret not recording my interactions with Micah of @worldofmicah. I recently subscribed to his channel and have been enjoying his content. Last week, while diving into Adam's archives, I uncovered one of Adam's very first meet-ups. Micah was there and introduced himself to Adam for the first time quite a few years ago. It was a very sweet moment, because they eventually became close friends and appeared on each other's channels. When I spotted that old video and recognized Micah, it almost moved me to tears. Micah referenced that video in his presentation today and I was pleased to have been able to discuss it with him afterward in person. He's a great guy. Do people even read these descriptions? I don't honestly know. YouTube is a hard nut to crack. Nevertheless, I enjoyed writing all of this so thanks for reading it if you actually did. 00:00 - Adam the Woo Celebration of Life 01:05 - How to Watch the Livestream 01:59 - Outside the Amphitheater 03:35 - Lots of YouTubers 04:21 - Entering the Venue 05:15 - Hey Brickey 06:21 - Provost Park Pass 08:18 - German in Venice 09:12 - Meeting Adam's Dad, Jim 11:20 - Simi Valley and the Poltergeist House 12:55 - Adam the Woo's Inspiration 14:30 - End of the Celebration #adamthewoo #celebrationoflife #jwwonthemove #vlog
