Cheesy Flax Bread || The Keto Kitchen

[RECIPE BELOW] Cheesy Flax Bread. This bread is really dense and very fatty per slice. It's not overpoweringly cheesy - if anything, the olive oil is the part that you can taste the most. Which shouldn't put you off! It's got this lovely sort of rustic taste to it. It would be lovely with some olives or Italian ham on it! | The Recipe | INGREDIENTS: 1.5 cups (150g) Almond Flour 1/4 tsp Baking Powder 2 Large Eggs 1/4 cup (41g) Flaxseed Meal 1/4 cup (58ml) Double/Heavy Cream 1/2 cup (50g) Parmesan Cheese, shredded 1/2 cup (54g) Gruyere or Emmental Cheese, shredded 1/4 cup (60ml) Olive Oil METHOD: 1. Preheat oven to 200c/400f. Prepare a large loaf pan by greasing. 2. In a small bowl, add almond flour and baking powder. Mix and set aside. 3. In a large bowl, add eggs and beat until combined. Add the almond flour mix and stir. Then add the flaxseed and mix again. 4. Then, add the cheeses, cream and oil. Mix until well combined. 5. Pour the mix unto your prepared loaf pan. Baking for 30-40 minutes, or until the top of the bread is golden brown. Leave to cool for 20 minutes before serving.
