After the most amazing 6–7 days in Singapore and on the cruise, it was finally time to head back home. As exciting as holidays are, the journey back always comes with mixed emotions — a little sad that the trip is ending, but also happy to return to the comfort of home. Our day started by disembarking the cruise, but the adventure wasn’t over yet. Since we had an evening flight, we decided to spend our day exploring the beautiful Jewel Changi Airport. The famous waterfall, the stunning architecture, the mall, the eateries — it honestly feels like a destination in itself. It was also our last day to spend some time with friends we had met during the trip, making the day even more special. Later in the evening, we checked in our luggage and relaxed at the lounge before boarding our flight. We flew back with Singapore Airlines and the flight was absolutely comfortable, but after such a long and eventful day, we were completely exhausted. By the time we finally reached home late at night, all I wanted was my own bed. But the fun didn’t stop there. The next day, we headed straight to Nani’s house for some warmth, laughter, and comfort. It felt so nice to just sit with my mom, pick up Oreo and Neeru, and of course complain a little about all the mischief Zayn managed to do on this trip — something only a daughter can truly do with her own mom. It was a beautiful trip filled with unforgettable memories, meeting old friends, making new ones, and experiencing so many special moments together.
