After days of travelling and a much-needed night of rest, today’s vlog is all about getting back into our little family routines. Even though Zayn’s monthly birthday milestone falls on the 10th, we were travelling that day, so we decided to celebrate it a little later by visiting the Gurudwara and offering our prayers and gratitude. The morning started on a very slow and sleepy note. We were honestly exhausted from all the travel and ended up waking up much later than usual. In fact, we took an impromptu call to skip school for the day and give ourselves a little extra time to rest and reset. But of course, a day at home for a mom is never really a day off! I had a mountain of laundry waiting for me, and Oreo was long overdue for a bath. Since I’m the only one who bathes him (we don’t send him to a spa or have a caretaker for him), that became the first big task of the day. After finishing up the chores, I finally got ready for the day wearing a beautiful cotton kurti set from Auranic that the brand had gifted me. Later, we headed to the Gurudwara to offer our prayers and celebrate Zayn’s delayed monthly milestone with gratitude. The day also turned into a small celebration as we marked Neeru completing two wonderful years with us with a fun little pani puri party! And of course, no day in our house is complete without Zayn’s nonstop masti. The vlog ends with us unwinding at home, sharing some family laughs and a little heart-to-heart with all of you.
