In this video I make a delicious slow cooker apple crisp. This dish is perfect as a dessert or even as a breakfast. Full Recipe: https://slowcookingperfected.com/slow... More recipes: https://slowcookingperfected.com/reci... Support us: https://go.slowcookingperfected.com/M... You don’t need a huge amount of ingredients to make this recipe. You can find all the ingredients that I use in the video below. For the apple mix use the following ingredients. • 6 Cups Apples, cut into chunks • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice • 1 tsp. cinnamon The topping ingredients are the following. • 1 Cup plain flour • 1 Cup oats • ½ Cup brown sugar • 1 Cup unsalted butter • 1 tsp. ground nutmeg • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon If you’re thinking of having extras with this dish, then I personally love having either some thickened cream or ice cream with it. However, if you don’t like adding extras than it is fine just by itself. You can speed this up if you’re running low on time. Simply place on high for about 2 hours and leave the lid off for the last hour so the topping hardens up. Once done you should have a very delicious apple crisp. Pecans, walnuts or even slivered almonds can be added to the crumble mix to add a bit of crunch. It will also add a bit of a nutty flavour so if you’re a fan of nuts then you should consider adding these. I find about ½ cup should be more than enough. Any type of apple will do but if you were buying them specially for a crumble then something like Fuji or granny smith are the best. I hope you enjoy this slow cooker apple crisp recipe and you don’t run into any problems.
