In this episode we remove the xy140 which wont change gears, from our Crossfire 140cc pit bike and strip all the electrics and harness to be ready for the Lifan 140cc oil cooled engine. This is a Crossfire or Cross Fire bike but would be the same for DHZ, MXR, SSR Motorsports, X-Pro, SYX Moto, PitsterPRO, Apollo, Kayto, Blygo, Van Diemen's, Thumpstar, Thumpster, WPB, Braaap, Braap, Piranha, Daytona, Honda, Kawasaki or Yamaha and All other Chinese made Pit bikes and Pitbikes. It would also work with other leading horizontal single engines or Honda Clone Engines from Lifan, YX, BBR, Daytona, Piranha and other suppliers from Temu, eBay and AliExpress Im excited about experimenting with the pit bike platform and pushing its limits as I attempt to turn it into a trail bike and increase my confidence and skills on it. This engine is a Lifan 140cc manual clutch full bike kit from eBay. The Lifan 140cc is rated to 9kw peak power and 11nm torque Full bike kit. The gearbox is the stronger N-1-2-3-4 and it was $870 and includes almost everything needed to do a complete engine swap on my CD90z project bike and get it back on the road. I chose the Lifan 140cc for the positive reviews, torque reliability and its competitive price. It was the best bang for buck, in my opinion. Most of the riding I will do is at low throttle not pinned like a racing bike If you would like to support the project go to YouTube Super thanks or www.buymeacoffee.com/iridetas Or www.paypal.me/iridetas www.choppedandbobbed.com.au @choppedandbobbed_inc on Instagram iridetas10 on checkout to save 10% *Motorcycle modifications can be dangerous* Im not a mechanic so please, complete these modifications at your own risk.
