Oak sawed in 1975 by my Dad, myself and the Much Older Brother was used in today's video for the making of a simple thresh hold for the Missus' new laundry room. A simple technique but considered dangerous by some is used to create the slight angles to the leading and leaving edges of the threshhold. Once resawn, it is sanded smooth by use of an old Craftsmen 6x48 belt sander and topped off then with a modern random orbital hand held sander.
