Join me on this Pakistan travel vlog through Hunza Valley. After a rough day in Hunza, I meet Suleman, an experienced Pakistani traveler who offers to show me around for free, another perfect example of Pakistan hospitality and kindness. We start from Karimabad and pass a roadside waterfall before entering the long Pakistan-China tunnel leading to Attabad Lake, a turquoise lake formed after a tragic landslide in 2010. The first viewpoint shows how powerful and beautiful nature in Pakistan can be. We continue to another part of Attabad Lake filled with small restaurants, ice-cream stalls, and souvenir shops selling yak carpets and traditional crafts highlighting a part of Pakistan culture. Next stop is the Hossaini Suspension Bridge, one of the most thrilling places in Pakistan. On the way we stop at a glacier waterfall so cold it feels like standing in a freezer. I meet a friendly group of young lawyers from Lahore on their Pakistan holiday, sharing jokes and travel stories. Near the bridge we try fresh local fruits and juice from a great vendor who speaks fluent English and proudly explains Pakistan farming traditions. Walking the Hossaini Bridge, with the mighty Pasu Cones in the distance, is one of the most iconic moments in Pakistan travel, breathtaking, safe, but still thrilling. We finish the day at the peaceful Borith Lake, often missed by tourists, where I take an ice-cold swim surrounded by snow-covered peaks. Finally, we dine at Bozlanj Restaurant and try traditional Hunza dishes like Mool and Fitti, local food not quite my taste but truly authentic Pakistan cuisine.
