Gulf Coast Connections 2025 Gulf Coast Connections, held in Galveston, Texas, from February 6 – 8, 2025, was a gathering uniting scholars, artists, scientists, architects and non-profit leaders from across the Gulf Coast to exchange ideas, explore topics like pedagogy, ecology, arts, design and environmental history, and foster meaningful collaborations. Gulf Coast Connections was co-organized by Rice University's Center for Environmental Studies and the Creative Gulf Network with generous support from the Andrew W.
